Osiris was the god of wine in ancient Egypt. In Rome he was known as Bacchus and the Greek called him Dionysos.

We from Osiris Winetasting are specialized in -of course- wine tasting, but also wine appreciation, diners and related wine consultancy services. After almost a century of a rather mediocre food (and only milk to go with it) the Netherlands now entered a Golden Age in terms of wining and dining. The interest in good food and drink is increasing rapidly. The days when mayonaise was the only option here to make things at least a little tastier are finally over.

If you are looking for something different instead of a night of bingo or stone grilling with your colleagues, associates or fellow club members, we can accommodate you. Let us take care of your night out. You will enjoy great food and wines ranging from fresh bread and tapas with a range of top whites and reds to a three, four or five course dinner with wines to match. Of course we will enlighten you here with informative and witty stories. All of this takes place in the cosy entourage of the private, intimate rooms of Plein Negentien, De Haagsche Kluis and Schlemmer in the old city centre of The Hague.

For groups starting from forty guests we also offer wine tasting with a cooking workshop in ‘De Kookfabriek’. Here you can enjoy splendid dishes, prepared by yourself with the assistance of culinary coaches and accompanied by a series of top wines highlighted by a wine expert. If you would prefer another venue, for example your home or workplace, we will be pleased to facilitate you.
